In Nawada district, a young man was burnt alive by spraying petrol on a young man in the forest on the border of Kauakol-Jharkhand. According to the information received, on Wednesday five miscreants in number in Kauakol police station area on the border of Jharkhand and Jharnama forest bordering Jharkhand, sprinkled petrol on a bike-riding youth and burnt him alive. The deceased youth has been identified as Mukesh Kumar Sao (30), son of Somar Sao, resident of Dumarjhara of Gaona police station under Giridih district of Jharkhand. The reasons for the incident could not be clearly known.
It is said that the tractor of Somar Sav, a resident of Dumarjhara, works to carry soil in the construction of the pond being done in Ranigadar of Kauakol police station area. On Wednesday, Mukesh along with his brother Chhotu Sav was going on a bike to bring diesel to the tractor. Meanwhile, five miscreants who were ambushing from the east near Jharnama, stopped the bike, took Mukesh down and started beating him. And sprinkled petrol on the bike and it and set it on fire.
Meanwhile, taking the opportunity, Mukesh’s brother Chhotu, who was accompanying him on the bike, somehow escaped from there and informed the family about the incident. By the time the family members reached the spot, Mukesh was dead. After this, the family members of the deceased informed the Kauakol police on mobile. Kauakol police finished their work saying that the matter belongs to Jharkhand. Therefore, the FIR will be lodged by the police there, after which the relatives of the deceased informed the police of Gaona, Lokay and Ghuthiya and demanded action. The police there also shrugged it off by saying that the incident was within the limits of Kauakol police station area.
The FIR will be registered by the Kauakol police, after which the family members of the deceased reached Kauakol police station and requested to register an FIR regarding the incident. Kauakol police then sent him back saying that the matter is of Jharkhand. Therefore, I see no justification for filing an FIR. Thus, the relatives of the deceased are being forced to make rounds of Kauakol, Lokay and Ghuthiya police stations to lodge an FIR regarding the dead body.
Police of both the states are procrastinating
Meanwhile, the police of three districts of Nawada, Jamui and Jharkhand are investigating the incident site. When Pakribarawan SDPO Mahesh Chaudhary was talked about on this matter, he told that whether this incident happened in Nawada of Bihar or in Lokai police station area of Jamui or its investigation is going on in Jharkhand. At the same time, the real reasons for this incident are being ascertained.
Some empty liquor bottles were seen from the incident site. The police are refraining from saying anything in this matter. After all, for what reason was the young man riding a bike beaten and set on fire? It is being verified. The curtain on this murder case will be revealed only after an in-depth investigation of the matter. At the same time, after the incident, the family members of the deceased and his wife Kiran Devi are in bad condition and crying.
